Me in a nutshell...

I married my high school sweetheart in 2003 and have been enjoying the military life with all of it's challenges both good and bad since. I have a B.S. in Psychology, worked in law enforcement field and now am finding it difficult to find any work. I have decided to follow my heart and work with numbers! Yuck to some, but fun to me. I'm working on an Accounting degree while juggling military life, raising 2 beautiful kids and searching for an opening in the job market where I can hone my skills. Follow me along this fun, stressful and interesting journey....

Our military world...

Last weekend I had a powwow with the wives in my husband's office.  I wanted to make sure that everyone was doing ok.  We don't have key spouse, so I thought that this would be a good idea and hopefully be able to go over some things as well as answer any questions anyone might have.

Things that we went over:
  • Husbands' jobs
  • What is expected of them (so the wives are aware of why they volunteer a lot, etc.)
  • Any Tricare, dental or other medical questions
  • How they are doing
  • How are their husbands handling balancing wk, family, school (if attending), etc.
  • Any problems that they are having
  • And of course just the normal chatting between wives

I am very blessed to have such a great group of wives surrounding me.  The support is awesome and although I just moved on base, they all make me feel like when I need them, I can count on them!  I hope that they feel the same way about me.
